Applied through electrodeposition, it is mainly used to reduce friction in metallic rings, sealing rings, or other stainless steel components, corrosion-resistant alloys, Inconel 718 and Incoloy 925 alloys.Silver can be used with optimum results in assembly interface areas, threads, gears and grooves in which the base metal undergoes high attrition generation, usually being indicated for use in abrasion or wear resistance.
